Acuvance have announced the newest XARVIS XX ESC end of 2019. Available in Black, Red, and Purple colours. Here's the detailed information from Acuvance.

Equipped with the highest level element that is unmatched by other FET elements directly connected to the essential performance of ESC such as output current, and the control circuit has been brushed up.

The basic performance such as torque and efficiency that users demand from ESC has been greatly improved.

Battery reverse connection protection circuit and "alert LED" for reverse connection

[XARVIS XX] combines the protection of substrate damage by reverse connection and the industry's highest output (based on our research as of December 2019) by optimizing the FET circuit.

In addition, it is equipped with an "alert LED" that informs the reverse connection according to this . Prevents ESC substrate damage due to reverse connection for about 10 seconds.

*The protection target of this circuit is the ESC circuit board. We do not guarantee the protection of Chevalier series, capacitors or external devices.

Equipped with BEC voltage switching (6.0 / 7.4V) function

In addition to the BEC voltage switching function, the output current has been increased.

Powerful drive is possible even with a 7.4V input compatible high torque servo.

Two dedicated terminals for various cooling FANs (including FLEDGE FANs)

Two FAN dedicated terminals have been installed to enable simultaneous connection of our products [ XARVIS dedicated ultra-high-speed rotation FAN unit REY-Storm ] and [ forced air-cooled brushless motor FLEDGE ].

New capacitor mounting terminal

A small terminal for capacitors is installed in addition to the battery connection terminal. Soldering work has been made easier.

XARVIS XX original setting items will be added at any time by installing a new program control circuit [* Note 1]

Based on XARVIS, a new program control circuit unique to XARVIS XX is installed.

In addition to the newly installed setting items "torque level / torque end point" and "BEC voltage switching", setting items dedicated to XARVIS XX will be added at any time.

[Torque Level] This setting item adjusts the feeling of acceleration / deceleration torque.

[Torque End Point] Determines the throttle position up to which the torque level effect is effective. Refer to the instruction manual for details.

*The torque level and torque end point functions cannot be used or set incorrectly when using Acuvance motors before LUXON BS and other companies' motors. In addition, when the XARVIS XX is released, both functions related to torque and BEC will be TAO II exclusive setting items, but Acuvance plan to support FUTABA S.BUS compatible transmitters.

Supports wireless and wired communication by TAOⅡ [* Note 1]

Simple settings can be changed using the buttons on the XARVIS XX main unit. However, using TAOⅡ greatly expands the settable items and values ​​and dramatically improves drivability.

The LINK terminal mounted on the front of XARVIS XX is used for communication with TAOⅡ, so there is no need to replace the RX cable from the receiver.

Furthermore, by connecting the LINK terminal to the brain unit (TAO II all-in-one package accessory or OP-15012) via an air link adapter (OP-15065), wireless two-way communication with TAO II is possible.

Compatible with wireless communication by FUTABA S.BUS compatible transmitter (update required)

If you are using a Futaba Electronics Co., Ltd. S.BUS compatible transmitter, you can connect an optional S.BUS adapter (OP-15067) to change setting data using the transmitter screen, The motor speed, ESC temperature, battery voltage, etc. can be displayed on the transmitter in real time.

XARVIS XX needs to be updated to perform wireless communication using the transmitter. *Please contact Futaba Electronics Corporation for compatible transmitters. (It may be necessary to update the transmitter / receiver.) Note that setting data cannot be stored in the transmitter, so use TAOⅡ to store and manage the setting data.

*When XARVIS XX is updated to support S.BUS, settings can be changed and data saved on TAO II as usual, but the data log function provided by TAO II will not be available.

*Items that can be set by TAO II and items that can be set by a FUTABA S.BUS compatible transmitter may differ.

Correspond to setting change by Ne-St

XARVIS dedicated setting controller [Ne-St] (nest) can also be used.

A version that adds setting data suitable for XARVIS XX will also be released.

*Ne-St must be updated to use Ne-St with XARVIS XX .

Non-boost / non-turbo status can be viewed with LED

The LED flashes when the boost turbo is not used, and it also supports regulations such as competitions where the use of these functions is restricted.

TAO II must be updated to enable communication between TAO II and XARVIS XX. Also, after updating TAO II to XARVIS XX compatible firmware, you can change the settings of XARVIS and AIRIA (both wired and wireless), but please note the following.

  • Setting items added as XARVIS XX exclusive functions , such as torque level related functions and BEC voltage switching functions, they are not functioning on XARVIS and AIRIA.
  • Data log feature is available only when you use XARVIS XX.
